Premiership striker and Arlesey Town old boy Dave Kitson returned to his roots on Saturday.

Kitson, who plays for Reading but is currently out injured, was at Hitchin Road - otherwise known as the Raj Villa Stadium - to present the club with their new kit.

His own clothing company, Chateau Roux, has supplied both new home and away kits for the Blues.

Arlesey's acting manager Darran Hay has led the team to sixth place in the Ryman League Division One North.

Chairman Bryan Ellis said: "He has done a cracking job to date. Hopefully we will be in a play-off place after Saturday's game but we'll take nothing for granted.

"We're not currently interviewing and we're very happy with the job Darran is doing.
