Hitchin’s Jack Wilshere is calling for young footballers to sign up for his NCF Elites trials in Letchworth this month, writes Layth Yousif.
The former Arsenal midfielder who now plays for West Ham has announced trial dates for their new centre opening in the garden city.
The dates are Bank Holiday Monday, April 22, and will be held at the home of the Herts FA at the magnificent new facilities at the County Ground.
The trials will be held from 1pm to 4pm and are open to talented players born between 2000 and 2009.
The afternoon will include playing time and a short presentation.
NCF director Jack said: “I’m delighted we are bringing our ‘Elites programme’ to Letchworth which is very close to where my roots are.
