Christmas came early for Cannon and in particular Jack Gregson.

His double strike ensured Cannon beat Kcinsatop 2-0 and kept alive the title race in the Premier Division.

Red Star ICL share the lead at the top of the table but they could have been on their own out in front had it not been for Adie Turner's last minute equaliser for PJ Hitchin.

James Campbell and Ross Pateman scored for Red Star while Turner had already scored once before his dramatic equaliser.

The division's surprise package HTS Barleycorn continue to confound the sceptics and also share the three-way tie at the top after beating Bar Absolute 2-1, Simon West and Kevin Burness scoring.

AC Malone will end 2006 at the foot of the table but will go into the New Year with renewed optimism after picking up their first win of the season as a John Bonner May goal gave them victory against Whitwell.

Pete Saunders' header five minutes from time for Stotfold Sunday was enough to give them victory against Engineers Henlow who had earlier taken the lead thanks to Jim Gentry.

Angels Reply and Whitwell Res shared the points after a 2-2 draw. Geoff Stone and Tommy Farrelly scored for Whitwell while Craig Skelton scored both Angels goals.

Wanderers were 5-1 winners at home to Offley Parish.

Division Two leaders George and Dragon boast the best attacking record in all the three divisions after a further eight goals were added to that total as they trounced AC Malone Res.

Mark Nunn (two), Danny Bennett (two), Kevin Thomas (two), Michael Mabbutt and an own goal made up the total.

Lee Gibbs scored both goals for The Park as they defeated North Herts Hatters 2-1 and leapfrogged them in the table to take second spot. North Herts Hatters scored courtesy of Neil Walker.

Shillington came from a goal down to beat Wilbury 3-1, Ross Woodbridge (two) and Danny Bridge scoring for Shillington.
