Veteran Ironman and Hawaii qualifier Gavin May led the team home in 155th overall with an impressive 9-52:11, his second time under the prestigious 10-hour barrier.

Experienced Ironman competitor Kevin Smart also had a superb race to finish under 11 hours with 10-57:23.

Two members of FVS TRI tackled the E'Tape which is a cycle event based on a stage of the Tour de France completed before the tour hits town.

This year the stage was based around the infamous Alpe D'Huez climb and in temperatures touching 40 degrees, this accounted for the 5,477 finishers from 7,548 starters!

Although not cycling together, Pete Timmins and Colin Cumberland finished remarkably close in times of 10-18:54 and 10-21:36 (4,841st and 4,916th) respectively.

The weather was not quite so favourable on the Faroe Islands as Dave Farthing completed the Torshavn marathon in 3-51.55 in cold and driving rain.
