The latest news from Stevenage CTC

More than 300 cyclists are expected to get on their bikes from Stevenage on the day the clocks change, Sunday, March 29.

They will be lining up for the Stevenage Start of Summertime Specials challenge rides from Fairlands Valley Park.

There’s a choice of the epic 210km ride from Stevenage to Lavenham in Suffolk and back; the 115Km ride to Thaxted and back; and the 60km to Reed, Barkway, Hare Street, Buntingford and back.

These will be the 21st Stevenage Start of Summertime Specials.

You can have a go but these rides are popular so you are advised to enter in advance. Go to www.stevenagectc.org.uk for more details and an online entry system.

Stevenage CTC – part of CTC, the national cycling charity - is not just about long rides. The group organise more than 250 local cycle rides every year.

You will find the full programme on the above website.
