Canaries keep a fourth successive clean sheet as they remain in ninth in the Southern Premier table

Hitchin Town’s unbeaten run extended to four games with a goalless draw at home to Histon on Monday night.

The result was the Canaries’ third 0-0 draw in four matches, with their other game being a 1-0 victory over Biggleswade Town on Saturday.

There weren’t too many clear cut chances in the game. In the first half, Jonny McNamara stung the palms of Histon goalkeeper Enol Ordonez.

In the second period Charlie Horlock made a superb save on his line, while Callum Donnelly then forced a save from Ordonez as the game petered out for a draw.

Hitchin: Horlock, Rolfe, Smith, Ann (cap), Corran, Kirkpatrick (Williams), McNamara, C Donnelly, Peacock, Rees, Noone (B Donnelly). Subs: Martin, Walster.

Hitchin Town Supporters Trust is holding a Meet the Manager Evening with Mark Burke at the club tomorrow (Wednesday).

The meeting will take place at 7.30pm in the main hall at the Canary Club.
