Scores: W Ingram, K Porter and A Hill lost 16-21; R Cole, G Munge and D Porter won 19-10; M Wadsworth and A Cook won 30-4; G Billingham, S Mumford and W Harrison won 24-15, S Ingram, D Conder and G Walker lost 12-15.

ASTON Bowls Club were beaten by Norton Bowls Club in the first round of the Mixed Bowls League triples competition at home and away.
