Letchworth Golf Club staged an enthralling county under-16s match.
Hertfordshire youngsters (above) met the combined county force of Bucks, Berks and Oxon at the beautifully prepared Letchworth course.
Herts trailed by four matches at the halfway point before coming in to win one match up.
Letchworth was chosen as the venue for this county match because it has a demanding and scenic course for county level players and the facilities needed for such an event.
The club has also staged the full men's county championships, the ladies' championship and the county colts in recent years.
Visitors and societies are all welcomed at Letchworth and Mondays are kept as a day for the casual visitor to play at a reduced fee.
