Hertfordshire Stags ended their season on a high note by beating Middlesex 46-0 in their RFU national under-20 championship match at Hitchin on Sunday.
Ian Crompton (Stevenage Town) was joined by Letchworth's James Alford in the starting XV.
Crompton went over in the corner just before half time as Stags ran up 32 unanswered points. But after Adam Shaw was red carded, Stags had to play into the wind with 14 men for the rest of the game.
A trio of replacements from Hitchin - Sean McGimmity, Nick Panton and Stuart Merritt - came on in the closing stages.
