SOME people never achieve a hole-in-one in their entire golfing career.

But Matt Hawkins from Letchworth GC Golf Club has already aced a hole three times - and he is only 14-years-old!

Matt, who plays off 17, got his latest hole-in-one on the 14th at Letchworth on Valentine's Day (Wednesday, February 14!).

His previous ones were at Chesfield Downs in Graveley in October 2004 on the 178 yard 17th followed by the 90 yard third hole on the Faldo Institute par three course at Brocket Hall less than a year later in August 2005.

# There are more than 100 juniors at Letchworth Golf Club aged from six to 18 but more are always welcome.

All budding Ian Poulters or Anneka Sorenstams should call the club professional Karl Teschner or secretary Niki Hunter on 01462 683203 for information on organised tuition and how to become a member.
