STEVENAGE Boro Vixens under-13s had a double success at the weekend.
They beat St Albans City Youth in the county cup quarter-final 3-1 thanks to goals from Beth Willing and Laura Agnew (two).
The under-13s currently lead Division Two after a run of 10 games without defeat.
They also gained a new kit sponsorship from Stevenage construction company AJAS Construction Ltd.
Andrew Pirie, a director from AJAS, is keen to see girls' football develop in the area and the sponsorship will help towards the club and its own development. Manager Dave Agnew was delighted for the girls and the progress that is being made locally for girls and women's football.
Their result meant a double victory in the county cup quarter-finals for Vixens as the under-12s beat Hemel Hempstead 1-0 with a single goal from Nicole Risley.
Vixens, having recently started to offer the Young Leader programme, are always looking for new players of all ages and ability.
