London Colney Village travelled to Comet Country to meet the George and Dragon in the Herts Sunday Junior Cup fourth round.

And they were put to the sword in a brutal display of attacking football by George and Dragon.

Danny Bennett hit four goals as the Baldock pub side slayed their opponents, Mark Nunn chipped in with a treble and other goals were scored by Paul McKenna, Matt Ryall and Scott Beeke.

Radcliffe Arms crashed out, losing 8-4 at Tolmers, despite goals from Andy Bonner (two), Brian Pilgrim and Alex Thompson.

AC Malone Res also exited the competition following a 3-0 defeat to London Road.

In the Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup, Wanderers came away with a good win as they defeated MK Ginder 5-2, Michael Carter (hat-trick), James Taylor and an own goal for Wanderers.

In the third round of the Herts Sunday Senior Cup, Cannon progressed after a 3-0 victory at Hemel Rovers, Jack Gregson, Robbie Somers and Rhys Davies on the mark.

Whitwell were eliminated by the same scoreline as they travelled to play QOB.

Shillington were in Beds Centenary Cup action and moved into the last eight of the competition after an edgy 2-1 win against Lewsey St Martin. Mark Baker gave the Shills the lead but it was an own goal that clinched it after Lewsey had equalised.

Two games took place in the Challenge Cup.

Kcinsatop had a fright against The Park before eventually finishing 6-3 winners. Rob Beckwith (two), Brett Donnelly (hat-trick) and Jay Norris scored for Kcinsatop while Steven Monaghan responded with The Park's three goals.

Offley Parish defeated Paynes Park 3-2 to book their place in the next round, Keith Jones and Steven Oatman scoring for the losers in that one.

Rikki Day, Ben Kowalcyzk and Greig Phillips scored the goals as The George Hitchin knocked out Engineers Henlow in the Premier Division Cup.

The big basement battle in the Premier Division saw Stotfold Sunday secure their first points of the season after a 2-1 win at home to AC Malone who scored thanks to Adam Watson.

PJ Hitchin were 3-1 winners at Bar Absolute, Adie Turner hit a double and Ryan Foster added the other.

In Division One, Kcinsatop Res moved top after a 5-0 win at SMU, Gary Wallace (hat-trick), Karl Milligan and Markus Brown scoring.

Crown Stotfold remain unbeaten and they were impressive as they beat Whitwell Res 7-2, Matt Franklin (four), Matt Evans (two) and Gareth Brown scoring their goals.

Angels Reply beat bottom of the table Walsworth 9-1, Steve Flattery scored a nap hand, and Michael Plumb, Stefan Cole, Gavin Stevens and Chad Ward a goal apiece. Fraser Boules scored the consolation for Walsworth.

HTS Barleycorn defeated Ocean's Eleven 3-2 thanks to Anthony Grundon, Ben Weston and Conn Whittaker.

In Division Two, North Herts Hatters moved up to second as they beat SMU Res 4-1 for the second time this season.

Neil Walker, Dean Wilkinson, Adrian Grocutt and Carl Beddard scored for the Hatters while Chris Reddy replied.

Broadmead were made to work hard for the 6-1 victory against The Five Bells who were all square at half time.

Victor Gonzalez (two), Mike Bryder (two) and Gavin Spackman (two) eventually gave Broadmead the goals to secure the points.

Wanderers Res ended Baldock Sunday's recent revival as they won 5-1, Mark Bolton (two), Steve Gales, Bobbi Travi and Mayo Fadoka scored for Wanderers while Chris Beedell replied.

Jim Maiden, Jamie Dunn, 'Dogga' Malcom and Andy Massive scored for Dynamo Letchworth as they put in a turbo-charged display to win 4-2 at Wilbury and ease away from the lower reaches of the Division Two table.
