Austen Arrowheads under-18s have just completed a successful season in the Royston Crow League.

Having made a slow start to the season, they finished up as league champions and the cup runners-up.

This was after being runners-up in both the league and cup last season.

Many of the squad have been with the club since the under-nines and this season's league success is the first trophy to have been achieved in that time.

The team, managed by Colin Timlett and assisted by Marco Randall, won their last dozen games to secure their success.

The management believe this squad is probably the strongest and technically the best they have worked with over the years.

They are looking to remain together and continue playing next season in senior football with the possibility of moving up to county league standard.

The management thank the committee members of Austen Arrowheads for providing support and backing to the team over the last decade and also to previous managers Dave Auburn and Graham Pearce.
