There was no problem in choosing the game of the round in the North and Mid Herts Football League's Benevolent Shield.

Woolmer Green came out on top on penalties against Colney Heath A after the game ended 3-3 at 90 minutes and no goals were added in extra time.

Goals from Adam Paine, Dan Gregory and James Brewster ensured the game went to extra time.

St Ippolyts defeated Kings Sports 6-2 with goals coming from Ryan Foster, Rennie Levy, Nathan Hayden, Ricky Green and Andrew Levy (two).

In the Premier Division, six goals from James Campbell helped Whitwell Village beat Redbourn 9-1.

Baldock beat Magnum 6-1 as Harry Holland scored a hat-trick, Adam Shelley got two and James Smith one. Trevor Long added to his account for Magnum.

In Division One North, league leaders AFC Santos made it seven matches this season unbeaten as they beat Benington 6-2.

They gave a few reserve players a run-out in this afternoon stroll.

Striker Adam Wombwell bagged himself a hat-trick, Joe Chilton scored another, and player-manager Nicolas Barrow also got on the scoresheet.

But the best goal was from defender Ricky Mensah who ran 70 yards beating off several challenges to slot home his first for the club.

A sour note was captain Calvin Crook being forced off with four cracked ribs after an off-the-ball challenge.

City Hearts beat Westwell 6-0 with Gareth Brown scoring four times, James Bonnet and Gary Evans also picking up a goal each.

Wilbury Wanderers managed to beat Woolmer Green in a close game 5-4, while Fairlands beat Bedwell Rangers Res 4-0.
