IT WAS stalemate at Top Field as Hitchin Town were held to a goalless draw with Mangotsfield United in the Southern League Premier Division.

In the South Midlands League Premier Division Biggleswade United battled back from two goals down to beat Haringey Borough 3-2, Keith Thomas scoring twice either side of a strike from Robbie Odell.

At the foot of the table Biggleswade Town lost by the only goal to fellow strugglers Harpenden Town while a goal from Jim Bywater earned Langford Town a valuable point in a 1-1 draw at Ruislip Manor. In Division One Arlesey Athletic lost 1-0 at Bedford United & Valerio.

LEAGUE leaders Potton United maintained their eight point lead at the top of the Eagle Bitter United Counties League Premier Division with a 3-1 win at struggling Long Buckby, despite falling a goal behind. Ben L'Honore, an own goal and Brett Donnelly made the points safe for Potton.

A goal from Jason Blackett earned Stotfold a 1-1 draw with Deeping Rangers.
