Stevenage hosted Crewe at the Lamex on Saturday. Read on for CometSport’s PLAYER RATINGS
Seny Dieng: 7 - Confident when called upon to make a save, dealt well with whipped balls into the area from set pieces and looked comfortable. Some fines saves kept Boro in the game
Luther Wildin: 6 - Looked dangerous going forward and did well defensively. Always a consistent player and becoming a key player in the side.
Scott Cuthbert: 6 - Combative and looked dangerous from set pieces.
Ben Nugent: 5 - N/A-Sent off in the 12th minute through dubious decision.
Steve Seddon: 7 - One of his best performances in a Boro shirt despite the loss, despite playing as a centre back for 80 minutes. Looked confident and dealt with most Crewe attacks.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce: 6 - replaced by Hunt after the sending off.
Joel Byrom: 6 - Solid in midfield but didn’t have the options to play to after the sending off because of the overload of Crewe on either flank.
Michael Timlin: 7 - Some great challenges and most will day the best player for Stevenage on the day. Looked exposed by the Crewe overload
Ben Kennedy: 5 - Some key passes but lacked that extra yard of pace on the counter and was subbed for Sonupe.
Kurtis Guthrie: 7 - Aggressive, pacey and strong performance from the big man but failed to score 2 of the easy chances he was given.
Alex Revell: 6 - Didn’t get much service of the ball and looked of the pace after going down injured.
John Hunt: 5 - Lacked composure on the ball and seemed of the pace a little bit.
Eman Sonupe: 6 - Looked sharp but brought on too late to make a proper impact with counter attacks

Jordan Bowery: 7
Callum Ainsley: 8
