Stotfold eased relegation fears with a deserved three points in a 2-0 home win over Northampton Spencer.
There were few chances in the first half, Louis Lee shooting wide when visiting keeper Ollie Urquhart was out of position on the half hour.
Just before the break, Tawhid Juneja (pictured left) headed Callum Donnelly's free-kick into the arms of Urquhart and defender Jason Gray almost headed Lee's cross into his own net at the near post.
Strong penalty appeals fell on deaf ears at the start of the second half when Bobby Dance's winding run into the box was abruptly halted.
Then Wes Byrne's blocked cross from the right fell kindly for Ryan Nichol who shot wide and a couple of minutes later, Dance got too much on Donnelly's free-kick from the left, sending it over the bar.
Their first goal came on 65 minutes when Dave Drury drilled a low free-kick from the right into the penalty box for Byrne at the near post to flick past the keeper and defender on the line.
The home team completely dominated the whole of the half with sixth placed Spencer hardly entering the Stotfold half.
Juneja chested down a corner and volleyed in Stotfold's second goal of the afternoon five minutes from time.
Rokermen: Blower, Nichol, D Drury, Kennoy, Juneja, Taylor, Lee, Hull, Byrne, Dance, C Donnelly (Guile).
Langford went down by the odd goal in five at Forde Park against Kingsbury London Tigers on Tuesday night after winning 3-0 at home to Aylesbury Vale on Saturday.
Arlesey Athletic were 4-0 winners at Amersham, Town to move further away from the bottom two in the SML Division One.
