PJ Hitchin have reached the last 16 of the Herts Sunday Senior Cup.

Adie Turner netted a late winner as they defeated Belstone 2-1 at St John's Road.

They took the lead after a blistering strike from Dorian Small but the game appeared to be heading for extra-time as Belstone equalised until Turner's decisive strike.

In the Premier Division, Red Star ICL remain top after beating Cannon 2-1.

Shaun Turner was a bag of tricks and weighed in with a well-taken goal, with Chris Kennedy also scoring for Red Star and Robbie Somers netting the Cannon goal.

A brilliant volley three minutes from time by Mick Reilly gave HTS Barleycorn a 2-1 win at home to Engineers Henlow as they battled back from a goal down, Steve Winch's opener cancelled out by Chris Powell.

AC Malone were thumped 9-0 as they hosted Kcinsatop. Brett Donnelly led the charge, netting an incredible six times. Stuart Potasnick, Ryan Barrett and Paul Donnelly (penalty) also scored.

There was an avalanche of goals in Division One with 27 goals recorded in just three games.

Angels Reply beat Whitwell Res 7-5, Steve Slattery (two), Chad Ward, Craig Skelton (hat-trick) and Bradley Moss scored for Angels, Colin Hair (hat-trick), Gareth Parker and Tommy Farrelly replying.

Karl Milligan (two) and Tony Wheatcroft found the target as Kcinsatop Res edged out AEK Letchworth, winning 3-1.

Ocean's Eleven enjoyed a comfortable win against bottom side Walsworth, 11-0 the final scoreline.

In Division Two, it ended goalless as the division's draw specialists Radcliffe Arms and Wanderers Res met.

The Five Bells faced a difficult trip to leaders George and Dragon and so it proved as they fell to an 11-0 defeat. Danny Barrett (hat-trick), Mark Nunn (hat-trick), Scott Beeke (two), Matt Ryall (two) and Rob Thornton scored the goals.

SMU Res were leapfrogged by Wilbury at the foot of the table after Wilbury beat them 2-0.

It was the first round of the George John Memorial Trophy and the shock of the round came at St Michaels where Division One Wanderers were humbled by Shillington from Division Two. The final score was 3-0, Chris Jarrey netting a double to go alongside an own goal.

SMU went into round two following a 4-0 victory at home to Dynamo Letchworth, Adam Sayer (two), Stuart Lee and Mark Tooms netting the goals.

Goals by Gareth Head and Carl Martin gave Premier Division basement boys Stotfold Sunday a welcome victory against AC Malone Res.

Fellow Premier Division side Whitwell thumped The Park 9-2, Gordon Guile (hat-trick), Wayne Mulloolly (hat-trick), Dean Mullings (two) and Ross Ward scoring.

Broadmead and North Herts Hatters were involved in an all-Second Division affair and a pulsating game finished 1-1 after extra time.

Goals in open play from Chris Tenby for Broadmead and Dave Waldock for the Hatters took the game to penalties.

North Herts Hatters got through to the next round by winning the shoot-out 4-2, so at least there are some happy Hatters at the minute!
