Nirankari Sports Sabha begin their defence of the Premier Division crown in The Comet Stevenage Sunday Football League this weekend.

They are up against new boys AFC Proverbial on Sunday at their Baldock stadium.

A new batch of players at Hermit of Redcoats take on perennial big boys Dun Cow.

Promoted sides Mallard and Old Red Lion take on Broadhall and Bottles respectively.

Bedwell are out of action, as are Station, who were promoted two divisions. Stevenage Fencing unfortunately folded recently.

Division One sees last season's third-placed side MBDA taking on new boys Pig and Whistle.

Another new side, and local rivals Aston Athletic take on Peartree (last season's Rileys).

Last season's disgraced Division Three 'champions' Pin Green, hoping to put the past behind them, tackle Stevenage Colts Old Boys, while Probuild (formerly FCFL) tackle Hogshead, who were handed the Division Three title. Breachwood Lions are the other side.

Division Two sees the only battle between debutants as Emperors Head and Crooked Billet go head-to-head. Relegated Norwich Union tackle King Pin United, ProCladd take on another new side, Old Social, while promoted Granby St George do likewise against Rapidsource. Triage lock horns with FC Rising Sun (formerly SBS). Newcotech sit out.

In Division Three, Bottles' new reserve side take on an Athletico Timebridge side who were kicked out last season.

Fox take on Crown (who were relegated as Newman), another relegated side Marquis of Lorne take on Hen and Chickens, improved MC Racing battle with MBDA Res and White Horse go head-to-head with the entertaining AFC Stevenage. North Herts Celtic get underway the following week.

A full list of fixtures are below, with a report in next week's Comet.
