Hitchin Town drew 0-0 with Dorchester Town at Top Field in a hard fought match on Monday evening. Read Layth Yousif's PLAYER RATINGS to find out who impressed.

Josh Mollison: 7 - Patrolled his box effectively. Vocal with good footwork and positional awareness.

Kevin Byrne: 7.5 - Showed his versatility when slotting into central defence after Webb was replaced at the break. A real team man who held the line well in such a crucial position

Daniel Olaniran: 7 - Enthusiastic and athletic. Good engine but perhaps needs a tad more subtlety when engaging in full blooded challenges

Matthew Spring: 7.5 - Intelligent touches when supplementing attacks, while reading the game well in the middle of the park. Conducted unsung but crucial work in breaking up the visitors attacks.

Dan Webb (captain): 7 - Solid display in the opening 45 minutes. Replaced at half time more in a bid to save his legs for the next match in 48 hours hence against the champions Hereford at Top Field.

Josh Bickerstaff: 7.5 - Mr Consistency. A real team man this season in defence and midfield. Deserves the accolade of Player of the Year according to seasoned judges

Trey Charles: 7.5 - Talented No7 who perhaps need to add consistency to his undoubted skill. Excellent touch and technique which allied with pace always makes him a danger

Charlie Smith: 7 - A tidy performance. Good vision and neat touches in a crowded midfield.

Connor Vincent: 7.5 - Lively with an excellent leap. Showed good aerial ability in winning headers but equally happy with the ball on the deck. A good blend of physicality and impressive technique

Robbie Burns: 7 - Good touch but another who would have liked to have played a more influential role in the match - not for want of trying it has to be said

Jonny McNamara: 6.5 - Tough and combative but not as influential as he would have liked.

Substitutes:

Toby Syme: 7 - On for captain Webb. Pacy. Showed good anticipation in clearing off the line late in the second half

Brett Donnelly 7 - On for Vincent who deserved his ovation. Bitingly effective as ever

Patrick Tshikala: 7 - On for Charles
