ACE striker Mark Barnes visited KC Sports recently to pick out a brand new pair of boots.

Barnes was the winner of The Comet Stevenage Sunday Football League's Golden Boot, sponsored by Keith Carne's shop in the Stevenage Indoor Market (both pictured).

The 19-year-old banged in an incredible 32 goals in just 13 games to help Nirankari Sports Sabha over the finishing line as Premier Division champions.

Nirankari will be favourites to retain their title but with Dun Cow opting to reapply at the last minute plus some other decent teams, they could be pushed all the way.

The Premier Division line-up is completed from the following: AFC Proverbial (new club), Bedwell Athletic, Bottles, Broadhall, Hermit of Redcoats (new club), Mallard, Old Red Lion (formerly Rising Sun), Station and Stevenage Property Services (formerly Stevenage Fencing).

The full constitution will soon be available.
