Arlesey Town vets set to play Crawley Green, while the club’s first team will take on Luton Town Legends in aid of Cancer Research UK

Ex-Arlesey Town striker Dave Kitson is among those set to return to the club tomorrow (Saturday) for a charity day.

Kitson began his career at Hitchin Town and Arlesey before playing in the Football League with the likes of Cambridge United, Reading, Stoke City, Portsmouth and Sheffield United - a career that saw him reach the Premier League.

Kitson will feature in Arlesey Legends’ match against Crawley Green Vets on a day where money will be raised for Cancer Research UK, Arlesey’s official charity. That match will kick-off at 12.30pm.

There will also be two other matches - at 10.30am Arlesey’s youth team managers will take on a team from White Horse Vets, and at 3pm there is a match between Arlesey Town and Luton Legends.

Entry on the day is £5 for adults and £1 children.
