Letchworth Garden City Eagles are starting a new scheme with the aid of supermarket giants Sainsbury's.

The local Letchworth store has donated £400 for the girls at the football club.

Eagles are building a new development squad for schoolgirls (Years Three to Nine).

They are holding an open session on Saturday, December 9, between 1-3pm. Any girls interested should email letchwortheagles@aol.com or call 07951 948493.

The squads will be taking part in festivals organised by Herts FA against other girls' development squads throughout the county.

Pictured are members of the Eagles club and management with the Sainsbury's Letchworth managers who organised the donation from the company.
