Arlesey Town are getting a helping hand next season from some old friends.

The Blues have announced new sponsorship deals for next season.

Existing shirt sponsors Raj Villa will transfer their support to the stadium which will carry their name.

They will also be focused on all the corporate club communications and the website www.arleseyfc.co.uk

The new shirt sponsor is Reading's ex-Arlesey star striker Dave Kitson.

Kitson will be playing in the Premiership next season after his current side lifted the Championship title.

Although now based in Berkshire, he is a frequent visitor to the club and has maintained his links with many of the supporters.

He has recently developed an interest in the sports clothing business via his company Chateau Roux.

The deal was brokered on a recent visit to the club. Arlesey chairman Bryan Ellis said: "This is part of the continued emphasis that the club wishes to pursue with local business and we are pleased to be associated with two such successful organisations."

Stotfold held their annual dinner and presentation evening at Chesfield Downs Golf Club on Friday night.

After words from chairman Phil Pateman and then club president and main sponsor Ted Saunders, the awards took place.
