ALTHOUGH the official football season finished weeks ago, the mini teams from Knebworth youth have still been playing at a series of selected summer tournaments.

The under-9 Cougars went to the Fairlands Youth competition where they won four games on the trot to reach the final.

In the final Cougars, pictured below, faced a difficult Broadhall Youth side who had beaten them earlier in the day.

But this time the Courgars held on to win the trophy 2-1.

The Knebworth under-6 Cubs, pictured above, brought home the Panshanger Cup in their first ever tournament.

The under-10 Wildcats recently played in the Diamond Cup along with 60 other teams at Rushden where they made it through to the semi-final before losing on a penalty shoot-out.
