HONOURS were even as the ladies' teams of Stevenage Boro and Arlesey Town shared the points.

Boro, with one of the best defensive records in the league, withstood some early Arlesey pressure. The deadlock was broken when Sarah Taylor scored a trademark goal from long range.

Boro really stepped up the pace and scored an equaliser before the break. This momentum carried into the second half and Arlesey had to remain resolute.

The last 15 minutes were mostly played in Boro's half but Arlesey were not able to get the winner. Their point should be enough to keep Arlesey in the division for another season.
