Five Stevenage Cricket Club young leaders received their coaching certificates on the same day as the Ditchmore Lane outfit passed their clubmark re-accreditation inspection.
Stevenage's accreditation was received after the club's youth procedures were described as a model for all clubs by the inspectors.
Club chairman Richard Burling, pictured with the five, said: "The club are proud of their development into one of Hertfordshire cricket's top community clubs.
"The development of young leaders is paramount to the club's future as they act as mentors to all the junior boys and girls who follow them."
The young leaders will support Stevenage Cricket Club's summer school programme.
This is open to all boys and girls, aged eight to 13, and starts on Monday, July 28.
