Eight are new black belts

Eight young students from the English Shotokan Karate Association recently passed their black belt grading. The students have been training for more than six years which culminated in a recent four-hour grading under the ESKA chief instructor Mike Nursey

Eight young students from the English Shotokan Karate Association recently passed their black belt grading.

The students have been training for more than six years which culminated in a recent four-hour grading under the ESKA chief instructor Mike Nursey seventh Dan.

The students trained hard for this prestigious award at a variety of clubs within the area.

This is the first time the association has awarded black belts to so many young students on a single grading day.
