ARLESEY Town ended a disappointing season with an away defeat.

The Blues took an early lead through Ozie Foster but were 4-1 down by the time Luke Gregson scored their second a quarter of an hour from the end.

The result meant the Blues were 10th in the Southern League Division One East.

A Robert Groves hat-trick could not prevent Langford losing a seven-goal thriller at home to Aylesbury Vale.

Glen Hawkins matched the feat of Groves for the visitors.

The Reds were fourth from bottom in the SML Premier Division.

Arlesey Athletic ensured a top six finish in the SML Division One after a 4-2 win at Buckingham Athletic.

Their goals came from Chris Reeves (two), Matt Dixon and Ian Thorne.
