Two members qualified to play in the finals of the National Association of Public Golf Courses at St Andrews.
The men's section was represented by Tony Routledge and the ladies' section by Diane Cruz who triumphed over lady golfers from all over the country to become the NAPGC ladies' champion 2006.
Closer to home, club captain Kevin Powell led his team to victory in the Herts Friendly League.
And the scratch team, captained by Pete Steed, won Division Four of the scratch league to obtain promotion to Division Three for next year.
In the club championships this year, Dave Gibson retained the men's title for the seventh year running.
The ladies' champ was Kathleen Muir and the seniors millennium champion was Alan Bennett.
Gibson also won the singles knockout competition and the club's doubles knockout was won by Clive Jennings and Bob Clarke.
Robert Moss achieved his first ever success with the club by winning the David Grainger competition.
The Stevenage Golf Centre also boasts a thriving Rookie Club and Junior Academy sponsored by Stevenage Leisure Limited.
