THREE years ago, Christopher Dennis had never ever played football.

Now the 12-year-old is banging in the goals for his adopted team Stevenage Colts.

Christopher moved to Great Ashby, Stevenage, in December 2003 with mum Celia from America to join dad Rob who was already working in England.

He knew nothing about the game but joined Stevenage Colts in the spring of 2004, although he did not play in an actual game until the following season.

Christopher won man of the match on his debut and scored a hat-trick against a team that Stevenage Colts had never beaten, Stevenage Boro Stripes. He won man of the match for three weeks in a row and was voted players' player by his team-mates at the end of that season.

He has scored 33 goals so far this season, despite missing five games, including numerous hat-tricks and four goals on two separate occasions.
