Chas Lowe won the double by destroying Royal Oak Exiles in the cup final of the Broadview Windows A1 Trophies Stevenage Evening Cricket League.

An awesome display of power hitting decided the game at Graveley CC last Wednesday.

Stevenage first team players Mark Sinclair (53, retired) and Gareth Berg (46) hit nine sixes in an opening partnership that put the game beyond Exiles.

Laurie Brown also scored an unbeaten fifty as Chas Lowe amassed 171 in 16 overs.

Exiles (Jamie Logan 37no) were never in the hunt and when the heavens opened after 14.3 overs, they conceded the match with 89 on the board for the loss of six wickets.
