THERE is at least one Liverpool fan who still thinks Steven Gerrard can do no wrong.

The Reds skipper may have gifted Sunday's opponents Arsenal all three points with a bad back pass which let in Thierry Henry for the winner.

But for 10-year-old Charlotte Theakstone from Hitchin, Gerrard is still her number one.

Charlotte was the Liverpool mascot for the televised match at Highbury which the Gunners won 2-1.

The Whitehill Junior School pupil, a keen footballer herself, was picked as she is a junior member at Anfield.

She met players from both sides, plus referee Steve Bennett, and got pictures and signatures before leading out the teams with England midfielder Gerrard.

Charlotte received a complete Liverpool away kit and will also receive a memento of the day from the Champions League holders.

Dad Ashley, mum Karen and little sister Ellie - all devoted Liverpool supporters - accompanied Charlotte on the trip.

Karen said: "She was extremely lucky to be picked and it was a great day for all the family. It's a real shame that Arsenal scored near the end but the club treated us really well and were good hosts."

Apart from Gerrard, Charlotte's favourite other player is Djibril Cisse who was absent on Sunday.
