Stevenage golfer Charlie Douglass was part of the Hertfordshire team playing in the national county finals week at Long Aston in Bristol against four other counties.
They won the regional week back in May and they only came second to Yorkshire at the nationals who have now won five years in a row.
Charlie won most of her matches with seven from nine.
Herts did well as last time they were in the finals they came last.
