Hitchin Town will meet Arlesey Town for only the fifth time in competitive football next season in the Southern League Cup first round.
It will be the first meeting of the clubs since 1988-89 when Hitchin won 5-1 at Lamb Meadow in the TSI Floodlit Cup.
Arlesey have visited Top Field just twice in competition - the first occasion being in the FA Cup in 1948-49 (a 3-2 win for Hitchin) and the most recent a shock 1-0 win for the Mid Beds side in the Woolwich Trophy.
The game, which will be played in October, will match Canaries boss Darran Hay against his previous club. The Southern League Cup, which Hitchin won in 2006, is now sponsored by GX Soccer.
