Howard Garden Bowls Club in Letchworth Garden City has now got plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Club members gathered at the Letchworth Golf Club for their annual dinner recently.
The club has celebrated its 80th year at their green in the garden city, and the proposals to update and improve the Howard Gardens met with approval.
Chairman Doug Kingsmill showed club members the improvements and enlargements planned for the clubhouse.
The changing rooms and toilet facilities will be redesigned and extended and there will also be improved views to the green.
Club president Ron Williams made all the presentations to last season's cup winners who can be seen holding their trophies. Colin Robinson, Ron Williams, Janet Taplin, Brian Atkinson, Tony Dumont, Trevor Hyland, Fiona Pike, Peter George, Maureen Smith, Agnes Laverty, Brian Pike, Ralph Kings and Brenda Wood all won club competitions.
