MARCUS CRAWLEY with all the latest Boro news

STEVENAGE Boro will appear in front of a live national television audience on Monday night.

Graham Westley's side visit fellow play-off hopefuls Hereford United for a Nationwide Conference clash (7.45pm ko).

The match is being televised live on Sky Sports, the first time Boro have received this sort of coverage since beating Dagenham and Redbridge 2-1 at home on October 5.

Boro's play-off bid got back on track with a 3-0 win over Canvey Island on Tuesday night.

The goals from Dino Maamria, sub Jefferson Louis and George Boyd were shown on Sky Sports News that night.

It was a reunion with one of his former clubs for Boro's new midfielder Adam Miller.

Miller, who has played in all six games since he moved to Broadhall Way last month, said: "I didn't leave Canvey on the best of terms and I was getting some stick off their fans, so it was great to win!

"But it was more important that we won to keep our run going."

He continued: "We've only lost one in six since I've been here but we've dropped points against Tamworth, Woking and now Dagenham. We could and should have had all three points at Dagenham.

"Saturday's game was unbelievable and we didn't stay on the front foot after our great start. It proved again we can't take our foot off the pedal when we go 1-0 up, similar to the way we did when we drew with Woking."

And the former QPR midfielder continued: "We're getting stronger and focused on what we need to do to keep winning. The team spirit is great, especially after 10 points from our last four games.

"I'm really looking forward to playing the big guns like Hereford and Exeter.

"I don't feel Hereford are the team they were - like when I played against them for Aldershot - and are there for the taking.

"All the lads want to play in the League and I feel my best chance at the moment of getting back there is with Boro."

Boro lost to Carlisle - the side now at the top of League Two - in the promotion play-off final back in May and Miller said the squad are looking to go one better this campaign.

After Monday, Boro are next in action when they face a long trip to Exeter City on Tuesday, March 7.

They will host FA Cup heroes Burton Albion at Broadhall Way on March 11.

The Boro reserves are also due to travel to Kenilworth Road to play Luton Town's second string on Tuesday afternoon (2pm ko).
