Stevenage Boro Juniors under-15 girls have reached this year's Herts county cup final.

After only three seasons together, the girls have made the final after defeating a good Royston Town Colts team 6-1.

The Cambs side were unbeaten going into this game, scoring 52 goals in all competitions and only conceding nine.

Stevenage were a goal behind after just three minutes but were soon back on level terms from a well-taken goal from Tayla Huckle.

It was Stevenage who scored again against the run of play to make it 2-1 and that was shortly followed by Huckle completing her hat-trick by the break.

Huckle scored another two goals and Heather Cousins rounded things off with a screamer in the second half.

The Stevenage girls will now meet Harvesters in the final after they scraped through on penalties against Bedwell Rangers. This will be played at the county ground in Letchworth on Sunday, April 15.
