MARCUS CRAWLEY reports

WIN your game and then worry about the rest - that's the philosophy of boss Graham Westley ahead of Stevenage Boro's biggest 90 minutes of the season.

Westley sees his side host York City on Saturday with three points required to stay in the play-off hunt along with Morecambe.

Boro then visit struggling Forest Green Rovers on the last day of the regular season.

Saturday's opponents York appear to have fallen out of play-off contention but still boast two of the four top scorers in the Conference this season, Andy Bishop and Clayton Donaldson.

Westley said: "We just need to do our own job this weekend.

"It's certainly going to be difficult for York now as they need ourselves and Morecambe to lose both of our remaining matches.

"Billy McEwan has built an exciting young side and they've made a lot of progress this season."

Boro chairman Phil Wallace has appealed for everyone to get behind the team for the remaining games.

Wallace said: ''In sporting terms for us this season, York at home this Saturday is as big as it gets.

"This is the one when everyone has to persuade half a dozen work mates, friends or family to come along.

"This is the one where the whole of Stevenage has to be with us - where we show our unity in support of the players and management.

"No negative thoughts - just total support to help the lads deliver three points."

Wallace (shown right) continued: "Morecambe will run us close again this year, although they are prone to a wobble.

"I just can't see them doing anything but winning on Saturday and then it's down to the last game of the season again. No, it can't happen again, can it?

"The bottom line is that we could go on forever looking at permutations - but all we should be doing as fans is supporting our club for every minute of every match, as well as in between.

"Then what will be, will be. I can't wait to get to Sunday, April 30, to see how to spend my summer.

"Will we be planning for the Football league at last?

"Graham is confident we will - he believes in his players and that's how it should be. Let's all do our bit now, spread the word and be positive in our support for the team.
