ARLESEY Town will revert back to the Ryman League next season.

The Blues will play in the Division One North after two years in the Southern League.

Chairman Bryan Ellis said: "The club is very happy to be back in the Ryman League.

"The division we are now in makes geographic sense and will give us a number of interesting new clubs to play.

"We are confident that with our resources we will be one of the leading clubs in the division.

"Our pre-season programme with friendlies against Kettering and Dagenham and Redbridge illustrates how much effort is going into next season."

The full list of clubs in their new division is: AFC Hornchurch, AFC Sudbury, Arlesey Town, Aveley, Barking and East Ham, Bury Town, Enfield, Enfield Town, Great Wakering Rovers, Harlow Town, Hendon, Ilford, Maldon Town, Potters Bar Town, Redbridge, Tilbury, Waltham Abbey, Waltham Forest, Ware, Wingate and Finchley, Witham Town and Wivenhoe Town.

Roy Boon is the new manager of Langford Football Club.

Boon will be assisted by Hendy Manning for first team duties for a minimum period of two seasons beginning next season (2006-7).

The pair have been promoted after a season in charge of the reserve team that finished runners-up in the Beds County Reserve League.

Chairman Mick Quinlan said: "The club has been impressed with the way Roy and Hendy have handled the task of running the reserve team.

"They showed a good knowledge of the area's younger players that have been introduced in the side during the year.

"It is hoped that a mid-table position in the SML Premier Division can be achieved next season with the nucleus of the side having a more youthful look along with a few experienced players in the team.
