Hitchin Town Belles under-14s have played for the first time wearing their new kit sponsored by Dee-Tek Engineering.
Playing on their home pitch in Ickleford, the girls drew 1-1 in a highly entertaining match against top of the league Spurs to remain unbeaten so far this year.
By strange coincidence, it was exactly one year to the day Dee-Tek owner Doug Flack tragically died in his home village of Langford aged 33.
Hitchin Belles and Dee-Tek manager Paul Rogers would like to thank the Flack family for their support.
The Belles currently have five teams playing competitively in the Home Counties Girls' Football League from under-10s to under-14s.
They are always interested in any new girls, especially for next season, with the possibility of an under-nine team giving an opportunity to those as young as seven.
Any girls interested should call Phil 01462 458290 or Paul 01462 621030.
