The three badminton area leagues in the county have gone head-to-head.
Hertford Area, Letchworth and District and South West Herts were competing at Birchwood Leisure Centre for the title top area league in the county.
Each area league side were represented by three men and three women from clubs within their respective leagues.
The Letchworth and District team was Anne Marie Day, Gary Starling, Nicky Dewhurst, Melanie Grenyer, Richard Adams and Jon Pancutt.
Twenty seven games were played, with each player playing four level doubles and two mixed doubles.
The result went down to the final group of matches, with the South West Herts team just edging Letchworth and District into second place by one game, and the Hertford area league one game further behind.
