HTS Barleycorn made it two wins on the trot in the Hitchin Sunday Football League.

They joined Kcinsatop on six points after two goals from Eddie Kemp and a Chris Powell strike beat Premier Division debutants AC Malone 3-1 who scored courtesy of Simon Flecknell.

Kcinsatop were 8-3 victors against Stotfold Sunday, Stuart Potasnick (four), Carl Milligan (two), Rob Beckwith and Carl Roberts on target while Stuart Tollervey and Gareth Head (two) replied.

The George Hitchin were beaten 4-1 by Red Star ICL. Wayne Blows came off the bench to score twice while The George old boys Ross Pateman and Shaun Turner netted one apiece. The George's goal was scored by Darren Buttergieg.

PJ Hitchin picked up their first point of the season at Cannon, a Dorian Small goal earning a draw. Darren Purchase was on the scoresheet for Cannon.

Whitwell came from a goal down to take a share of the spoils at home to Engineers Henlow, Gordon Guile cancelling out Mark Gilchrist's first-half opener.

Walsworth shipped nine goals for the second successive Sunday, this time against AEK Letchworth in Division One.

Micky Smith (five), Matt Wilson, Matt Bond, Rob Foster and Howard Mills inflicted the damage.

SMU were 5-0 victors at Angels Reply, Adam Sayer (three), Lee Sharman and Mark Tooms with the goals.

A double for Neil Dorrington could not stop Kcinsatop Res from slipping to a 4-2 defeat at Crown Stotfold.

Whitwell Res made a winning start to their league campaign as a Tommy Farrelly goal gave them a 1-0 win at Ocean's Eleven.

Anthony James (two) and Michael Jones scored for Cannon Res as they secured a 3-1 victory at Offley Parish.

Wanderers went goal crazy at HTS Barleycorn Res eventually winning 9-2. Michael Carter led the way with four goals, Joe Whittaker (hat-trick), Paul Sapsed and Jas Badeshia scoring the others. Ben Weston and Conn Warwicker scored for HTS.

In Division Two, AC Malone Res were impressive 6-0 winners at Baldock Sunday, Kyle Dunston, Craig Beedell, Paul Ford, Elias Exonophontos and Kaiser Ismail (two) on target.

Carl Beddard and Simon Merrick scored for North Herts Hatters in a 2-2 draw with Paynes Park.

Dynamo Letchworth made a winning start against Wilbury, James Collins, Liam Le Blonde, Bill Ryder and an own goal giving them the points in a 4-1 win.

George and Dragon and Shillington kept up their 100 per cent records as they beat Radcliffe Arms and The Park FC respectively.

Another side with two wins from two this season are Broadmead. Goals from Steven Young (hat-trick), Greg Dedman, Craig Benham, Mike Bryer and Danny Carroll gave them an easy 7-1 victory at Wanderers Res.
