The deadline for sending in your nominations for this year's Comet Sports Awards has been extended.
The closing date for entries is now 5.30pm on Monday (December 4).
Run in association with North Hertfordshire College, the awards are now in their fourth year and will again feature a dozen categories.
As well as main sponsors North Hertfordshire College, other sponsors are the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, AVC, MBDA, GlaxoSmithKline, Stevenage Borough Council, Stevenage Leisure Limited, ESP, the Stevenage School Sports Co-ordinator Partnership plus Marshall Trophies and Signs.
And the sponsors will each provide a judge to select the 36 finalists (three in each of the 12 categories) and this will take place on Friday, December 8.
The three finalists in each of the categories will be highlighted in The Comet in the edition of Thursday, December 15.
All ages, all standards and both sexes are sure to be honoured at this year's awards ceremony.
It is on Friday, January 26, 2007, at the Stevenage site of awards main sponsors North Hertfordshire College.
