Three Richard's Trampoline Club members went to Cardiff for a grade one national competition.

Lisa Withey completed a sound set routine and achieved the required score for the British Championships.

But it all went wrong during her voluntary routine and she was unable to get the rest of the scores required.

Charlie Mussino started well with a good set routine.

Problems in his voluntary routine meant he finished just outside the top 10 in 12th place, missing the required mark to remain at grade one next year by just 0.3!

Michael Dodson had the best day by far after two good routines.

This easily qualified him for the men's event - the group where the top people at grade one compete together. The 15-year-old eventually finished in eighth place.

The following day, he was at the national double mini trampoline (DMT) competition for the Hitchin Salto DMT Club.

He completed all his passes, won his group and qualified to be considered for the world championships in Canada.
