St Ippolyts have advanced to the final of the Hitchin Sunday League Division Two Cup after victory over Troll Campbell.

The game finished 0-0 after normal time and St Ipps went through winning 4-2.

In group C of the Subsidiary Cup, North Herts Hatters made it three wins from three with a 4-2 success against Niche while in group D, Feed Up Warm Up won 5-0 at Kimpton.

In Division One of the league itself, Squirrel Taverners and AC Malone slugged it out to see who would finish second with Malone winning 3-1.

Squirrel struck first and took the lead with a long range strike and Malone missed three missed chances before the break.

However, a dominant second half performance changed that as first skipper Ben Fairey found the bottom corner from 25 yards to equalise and then, in injury time, Fairey got his second to put Malone 2-1 up.

The captain then turned provider as Kane Stanton headed in a third.

AC Malone have now completed all their league games and sit one point ahead of the Taverners who have one game left to play against champions Coach & Horses.

Squirrel do have a better goal difference though meaning a draw would be good enough.

The Cock were at home against Buffs in Division Two and went goal crazy, winning 9-0 to move three places up the table to third.

The final game of the day was in Division Three with Lea Sports PSG and Down And Under playing out a 1-1 draw.
