Steve Evans has said he is sick of apologies from referee chiefs but he is expecting another after a big decision went against them at Blackpool.
Boro were trailing 1-0 when the game entered first-half stoppage time and looked to have drawn level when Jamie Reid poked the ball home.
But after a very long delay, the linesman ruled it out for offside and the Seasiders went on to score another two in the second period to close out a comfortable 3-0 win in League One at Bloomfield Road.
And the Boro boss said Blackpool manager Neil Critchley had huge sympathy for them.
Evans said: "For me there's a pivotal moment, it's game changing.
"It's a well-worked set-piece, Carl Piergianni knocks it down to Jamie Reid and he is brave. He goes in and scores.
"And there's probably five or six seconds before the flag goes up.
"Obviously you don’t know if it is offside from our seats but I’ve come out for the second half and Neil Critchley said to me 'we've just looked at it and he is clearly onside, we’ve got away with that’.
"We'll get another e-mail and I'm sick of emails from them.
"The Football League need to get a grip at how bad officials are because that was horrendous from the assistant referee.
"The referee has to go by what the assistant referee says but he has a good enough position to see it's a clear goal and that's game changing.
"I asked the question at half-time [why the flag had taken so long to go up] and he said ‘I'm not going to discuss it, go away.
"That's just so they can go and get their excuses and stories right inside their dressing room but they can have no excuses."
Jordan Rhodes had given Blackpool the lead with a deflected effort on 38 minutes and Owen Dale had done the same on 61 minutes before CJ Hamilton wrapped things up 11 minutes from time.
Evans though did admit that the performance from his side wasn't up to standard.
"I don't stand here and profess to think we've played well," said the Scot.
"We had some blows before the game in in terms of Dan Sweeney suddenly not travelling and Luther James-Wildin not available but the boys that came in worked really hard.
"The supporters will look back at the goals themselves but our skipper should clear the ball up the pitch but he tries a silly pass.
"The guy has a strike art goal and Jordan Rhodes is a prolific scorer but he knows nothing about it.
"He'll know more about going to Tesco tomorrow but it hits him and goes in.
"We’re trying to change it in the second half, we’ve gone three up front, gamble a little bit, and they get [another] deflection.
"That probably seals the game for them but then the boy Hamilton, who played for me at Mansfield scores and it is a wonderful finish.
"So we have absolutely no complaints over 90 minutes."
