Stevenage have signed their fifth keeper of the season - bringing in Toby Savin on a very temporary loan from Accrington Stanley.
Boro had started their League Two campaign with Taye Ashby-Hammond, brought in on loan from Fulham, and Aaron Chapman as their two stoppers.
But a knee injury at the end of January, one that required an operation, will keep the Fulham man out for another six weeks or so while Chapman departed for Scunthorpe United in search of more regular game time and to be nearer his family home in Rotherham.
It meant that Reading man, Jokull Andresson, and Adam Przybek were drafted in at the start of the month.
However, a challenge in Stevenage's 2-2 draw at Newport County on Tuesday night has left the Icelandic with an arm injury and sent Steve Evans back in the transfer market, albeit with the full permission of the EFL.
And his search took him to the League One club and the 21-year-old who has made more than 70 appearances for the Wham Stadium club in the past three seasons.
He joins on a seven-day emergency loan.
