Stevenage have made their fourth signing of the January transfer window with the capture of Josh March.

The 25-year-old joins on a permanent deal from League One Forest Green Rovers where he made 90 appearances and scored 13 goals.

He was also a key part of their League Two title-winning success last season.

Boro manager Steve Evans says the striker has been on the wanted list at the Lamex since the summer.

He said: "We are delighted to get Josh here after a six-month chase.

"Leon Hunter and our chairman Phil Wallace deserve enormous credit for the patience and the work it took to get this done against some serious competition for the lad’s signature.

"He is everything we were looking for. He is quick, has a great work ethic and is a goal scorer, joining Jamie Reid, Luke Norris and Danny Rose to compete for a place in our team.

"Josh made it clear that Stevenage was his much-preferred option and despite the six months it has taken, he is now a Boro boy."
