Three runners from across both Fairlands Valley Spartans and North Herts Road Runners hit the century milestone at parkruns.

Alison Shelley and Jim Brown for the Spartans and the Squirrels' Branka Moss all completed 100 Saturday morning 5ks.

Moss's ton at the worldwide events came at Letchworth in a time of 43 minutes 21 seconds while for the FVS duo, they reached 100 on the Stevenage course together, finishing in 32:46 and 32:47.

The Herts Half Marathon and 10k runs were held at Knebworth House with the usual undulated course around the lanes towards Whitwell testing the field.

Highlights for NHRR in 10k was a PB for Alice Carty while Sharon French was running her first race for four years, finishing in 1:02:22.

Laurie Scott claimed a PB in the half while there was an age category win for Rachel Arnott.

Jane McFarlane of FVS meanwhile was encouraging a friend to a PB in the 10k, finishing in 1:01:42.

The clubs also had representation at the Snowdonia Marathon Eryri which starts and finishes at Llanberis and circumvents the mountain while taking in numerous climbs.

NHRR's Paul Bowal, Caroline Thrussell and Jennie Fraser all travelled with Thrussell finishing in 4:20:48 and Fraser in 4:54:20.

Injury ended Bowal's run at 10 miles but he still completed the course, albeit on a bike.

Sharon Crowley of FVS completed her 29th attempt at the event in 6:32:25 while Paul Holgate managed 7:17:44 in his 32nd run, completeing every edition held since 1988.
